Commuters are invited by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to a special public preview event of the three new Circle Line Stage 6 (CCL6) stations on Jul 4, 2026.
The CCL6 public preview (or open house), running from 9:30am to 9:00pm, offers everyone a unique opportunity to explore the new Keppel, Cantonment, and Prince Edward Road stations before they open for passenger service the following week on Jul 12, 2026.

Getting to the new CCL6 stations during the public preview
Commuters can take free shuttle train services from the existing Marina Bay station to the new Prince Edward Road station, as well as between the new Prince Edward Road, Cantonment, and Keppel stations of the CCL6.
Commuters may also take public bus services that stop near or outside the CCL6 stations.
Things to do during the CCL6 public preview

Visitors to the CCL6 public preview event can check out and explore the distinctive artworks, architecture, and features of the new stations, as well as various interesting landmarks.
They can also stand to win exciting prizes by participating in games such as the “Move Lite CCL6 Adventure Stamp Rally” and the “Circle Line 6 Quests” photo hunt, which would be held across all three CCL6 stations.
The beloved mascots of the Thoughtful Bunch characters will be having dance performances at Prince Edward Road station at 12pm and 6pm, as well as a meet and greet at Cantonment and Keppel stations at 2pm and 4pm, respectively.
CC31 Cantonment – Friends of Land Transport Booth, Knackstop, Singapore Civil Defence Force Booth, National Heritage Board Booth
Visit the Friends of Land Transport booth at Cantonment station to explore nostalgic train and bus memorabilia on display, as well as experience what it is like to be a train captain with the MRT train simulator.
LTA’s Knackstop pop-up store would also be at Cantonment station, for the public to bring home fun and quirky merchandise inspired by the public transport network, including the debut of three new CCL merchandise items, as well as exclusive one-day promotions.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) would be demonstrating the Civil Defence (CD) Public Shelter, for people to take refuge during air raids, at Cantonment station; check out the SCDF booth to learn more about CD shelters and lifesaving skills.
Step back in time and experience Singapore’s iconic railway gateway at the National Heritage Board (NHB) booth with their immersive virtual reality (VR) experience, ‘Journey 1969’, transporting you to Tanjong Pagar Railway station in its 1960s heyday.
CC32 Prince Edward Road – Land Transport Master Plan Refresh Booth, SimplyGo Booth, NEXT STATION: The Singapore MRT Game Booth, Fenbao’s Activity Corner
Check out the Land Transport Master Plan (LTMP) refresh booth at Prince Edward Road station and share your aspirations for the future of transport. The refreshed Master Plan will build on the goals set out in LTMP 2040 and is targeted for release in 2027.
The SimplyGo booth will also be at Prince Edward Road station, showcasing the different payment cards for public transit, including SimplyGo EZ-Link/Concession cards, as well as EZ-Link/Concession cards and contactless bank cards.
Visitors can check out the ‘NEXT STATION: The Singapore MRT Game’ booth at Prince Edward Road station and join the live speed tournament to win a copy of the game. Participants can also partake in a Heritage Quest for a lucky draw prize.
Developed in collaboration with local artist Lim Sau Hoong, Fenbao’s Activity Corner is a hands-on activity for families with young children to get creative with Singapore’s lovable icon of sustainability. Participants can take home their pieces as a special keepsake.
CC30 Keppel – Gracious & Caring Commuting Booth, Public Transport Security Booth
Check out the ‘Gracious & Caring Commuting’ booth at Keppel station and show what it means to you being a gracious and caring commuter through a design activity and stand a chance to win an adorable mini-Thoughtful Bunch figurine.
Learn how the public transport system is kept safe at the Public Transport Security booth at Keppel station. You can also step into the shoes of a Transit Security Officer using a metal detector and also put your observation skills to the test for a chance to win prizes.
Circle Line Stage 6 will open for passenger service on Jul 12, 2026
With three new stations – Keppel, Cantonment, and Prince Edward Road – closing the loop and linking the existing HarbourFront and Marina Bay stations, CCL6 will enable commuters to have shorter travel times when it opens for passenger service on Jul 12, 2026.
Two existing CCL stations will have their station codes changed: Bayfront CCL station will change from CE1 to CC34, and Marina Bay CCL station will change from CE2 to CC33.
The CCL main loop will be operating at frequencies of about 2 mins during peak hours. Off-peak and weekend train frequencies will be around 5-6 mins. LTA and SMRT will monitor train loading to make necessary adjustments based on operational needs.
