Leveraging the new train service alerts page introduced by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), we have launched a crowdsourced form for commuters to play a part by submitting real-time information, as well as new WhatsApp and Telegram channels.

Building on the existing Train Service Status web page, Train Service Alerts by SGTrains enables other commuters on the train network to be alerted in advance and make informed travel decisions.

Commuters travelling on the train network can submit their crowdsourced information by clicking on ‘Report a Train Service Delay’ on our Train Service Status web page.

Subsequently, crowdsourced information from commuters would be verified, and then information would be broadcast over our new Train Service Alerts channels on WhatsApp and Telegram.

Crowdsourced information submitted through Train Service Alerts by SGTrains would serve as an early-warning indicator before commuters would potentially head down to the affected MRT or LRT station.
