Exercise Station Guard conducted since 2018

Conducted regularly by LTA and public transport operators since February 2018, Exercise Station Guard is a public transport emergency preparedness exercise, part of the SGSecure movement.

It aims to strengthen security in public places and to build resilience in the community against security threats, particularly terror attacks.

These exercises complement other public education efforts by LTA, such as the “See Something, Say Something” campaign that encourages commuters to report suspicious items, persons and activities they may come across in the public transport network.

Exercise Station Guard have been conducted at various MRT stations, including one at Bugis MRT station earlier this year.
