9 Contracts Awarded for Singapore-Johor Bahru RTS Link Systems

System Works for the Rapid Transit System Link (RTS Link) project between Singapore and Johor Bahru are progressing well.

SMRT announced on Wednesday (May 12) that RTS Link operator, RTS Operations Pte Ltd (RTSO), recently awarded nine contracts, totalling around S$320 million.

“For the almost 300,000 people who cross the Malaysian-Singapore border daily for work, their journey on the 4km light rail line from one country to the other is expected to take only five minutes, excluding customs clearance,” RTSO mentioned in their press release.
