First Upgraded Train for North East Line To Enter Passenger Service From Feb 28
The first newly upgraded first-generation MRT train for the North East Line, the Alstom Metropolis C751A, will be entering passenger service from Monday (Feb 28).
This is the first of 25 trains for the NEL which have completed its scheduled mid-life upgrade.

Late Opening of Thomson-East Coast Line Stations – Feb to May 2022
Train services on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) will start later at 8:00am on Saturdays and Sundays, from Feb 26, 2022, to May 29, 2022.
This is to facilitate additional engineering hours to support testing in preparation for the third stage of the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL3) which is slated for opening later this year.
