TEL4 Public Preview: Try the TEL Train Simulator at Marine Parade station; win a collectible in our contest.

Come drop by the Friends of Land Transport Booth at Marine Parade (TE26) station during the TEL4 Public Preview happening on Friday (Jun 21), 12pm – 9pm, and try your hand at being a Train Captain with our Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) Train Simulator.

TEL stage 4 will open for passenger service on Jun 23, 2024, and comprises seven new MRT stations: Tanjong Rhu (TE23), Katong Park (TE24), Tanjong Katong (TE25), Marine Parade (TE26), Marine Terrace (TE27), Siglap (TE28), and Bayshore (TE29).

For the TEL4 Public Preview, players of the TEL Train Simulator can get to experience using our replica of the TEL train’s ‘Master Controller’ handle, which is a device used to control both the acceleration and braking of the train.

The new TEL train’s ‘Master Controller’ handle aims to replicate the one used in the real world for more immersion, which can be a new challenge for many as the conventional keyboard was used last time in the opening event of the previous TEL stage.
