#TEL3OpeningEvent: Free Travel Across 11 New MRT Stations of Thomson-East Coast Line 3

The public is given the opportunity to explore and check out the third stage of the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL3) through the TEL3 Opening Event on Nov 11, 2022.

Eleven new MRT stations for TEL stage 3 will officially begin passenger service on Nov 13, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced on Oct 7, 2022.

Commuters can preview and travel for free along all 11 new TEL3 stations during the TEL3 Opening Event on Nov 11, 2022, from 10am to 9pm.

11 new TEL3 stations will include two new double-line interchanges such as Stevens and Orchard, and two new triple-line interchanges, Outram Park and Marina Bay.

Win prizes and have fun at various activity booths during the event

Visitors of the opening event can look forward to winning prizes and having fun at various activity booths at several TEL3 stations during the opening event.

Showcase your Thoughtfulness design and stand to win prizes from the claw machine situated at Orchard and Outram Park TEL stations.

Stand a chance to spin and win exclusive prizes for answering three simple questions about SimplyGo at the activity booths in Great World and Maxwell TEL stations.

Check out the interactive booths at Outram Park TEL station to learn how LTA is making the public transport system more inclusive, and at Havelock TEL station to role-play and detect hidden threats as a Transit Security Officer to keep the public transport system safe.

Head down to Orchard TEL station and grab some new rail merchandise with exclusive on-site promotions at LTA’s Knackstop pop-up store.

Also, check out the Friends of Land Transport (FOLT) booth, where you can be a Train Captain & try the TEL Train Simulator, and view an exclusive display of transport memorabilia.

Other activities include meet & greet sessions with the Thoughtful Bunch at Outram Park, Gardens by the Bay, Maxwell and Great World TEL stations.

Win exclusive prizes by showcasing your best moves for Move Lite at Gardens by the Bay TEL station and through other fun games such as the “TEL3 Thrills & Trails” & “TEL3 Go!“.
