Extended Engineering Hours on the Sengkang-Punggol LRT from July to September 2020

There will be extended engineering hours on the Sengkang–Punggol LRT from 26 July to 6 September 2020 with changes to service on selected days.

Why is the extended engineering hours needed?

In a Facebook post by LTA, works such as maintenance and reinforcement works for infrastructure parts and hacking works alongside with installation of sound barriers will be carried out.

By having the extended engineering hours, these works can be done in the day rather than in the night, minimising disturbances to residents.

Update Note: It was previously reported that the affected platform will open at 5pm. LTA has since revise this on 1 Aug that services on the affected platform will be closed full day and services on both platform will resume the following Monday.
