Spotters by SGTrains – Introduction of Tracking Lists

The SGTrains Team is excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Tracking List function, which will allow trainspotters to keep track of various developments across the train network.

Users will be able to contribute and update the lists using pre-defined statuses, which can be tied to specific control logic for each specific list in the backend, ensuring high data accuracy.

Initial Launch

The initial launch of the Tracking List function will allow trainspotters to track the refurbishment status of the Alstom Metropolis C751A trains for the North East Line (NEL).

Users will be able to update the refurbishment status of a specific train from “Not Refurbished”, to either “Suspected Upgrading”, “On Mainline Test”, or “Refurbished”.

Future Expansion

Pending feedback and evaluation, we will launch the Tracking List function to track other aspects including and not limited to delivery of new trains and installing and retrofitting of train equipment.
